11 feet of pure single hand casting control and pleasure! For anglers interested in a crossover rod between single and two-hand spey rods, you can do it all with htis rod. As conditions and back cast space allows, you may overhead cast while wading deep, and get to distances thought reserved for experts only. Suggest using a long belly weight forward intended for single-hand rods for this sort of casting. When backcasting is limited, or if you prefer using a #5/6 short belly spey line will let you single hand spey cast with ease, providing incredible line control and distance.
