While it may not roll off the tongue like Trout & Panfish, this section could have been more accurately described as the Light to Ultra-light freshwater rods section. Awesome high performance little devils that fit the bill for everything from kokanee to shad, bass to silvers and oh yeah, Trout and Panfish. These are the rods that make catching small fish a lot of fun and catching big fish a downright riot.

Spinning Rods
A dynamic collection of light-duty and ultalight freshwater spinning rods. We designed them primarily for trout and panfish, but they satisfy a variety of different applications like, small crankbaits for bass, darts and light jigs for shad; small baits for bonefish; spoons for sea trout; even spinners for silver salmon if you're willing to give it a shot. Now, don't get us wrong... they aren't like our spin jig rods. They more of a light-duty all around spinning rod with relatively soft butt-sections and light tips. None are rated for over 10-pound line and most are in the four to six-pound test range. If you're fishing in tight quarters or really small creeks, we would suggest the shorter models, but if you frequent larger streams or ponds and lakes, we would recommend the longer rods because they protect light line better and give you increased casting distance and a longer, more effective hook set.

The combination of the 7-foot length and the ultralight action makes it a good deep-water panfish rod. And if you like to fish bubble/fly combinations for trout, this rod will certainly do the trick, especially with a smaller bubble. It's also a nice rod for drifting single salmon eggs (or imitations) for trout in small streams. All in all, we consider this the perfect 4-pound test rod.
