There's been a trend in the past few years towards longer rods and it's a valid one, especially since a lot of our lakes lose their cover as they mature and the brush and trees die off. Long rods are great when you're fishing open water with plenty of CASTING ROOM, but when you start moving to the bank and the cover gets in the way, those long rods just won't cut it. This is where our Casting Rods SHINE. Shorter than their Mag Bass cousins, available in 5'6" or 6' lengths, they have the same fast actions and responsive tips you need for low trajectory, accurate casts. A new (almost football shaped) rear grip make the 5 1/2-footers more comfortable to cast and gives you more control.
